Sleepless nights...

Thinking of you..thinking of me, the night drags on and on. Thoughts of why, what if, whats coming roll through my mind. One, two, three... the night turns into morning, dark becomes light, my head continues to spin. Not thinking of myself or what matters to me but you, all of you that prevail in my life. Every single face, voice, and smile that has ever crossed paths with my eyes and ears, I do this for you. Happiness of other people is by far the number 1 goal of my life.. Seeing the smiles and success, just the change makes waking up every morning worth while.


I sometimes wonder how me, a 18 year old college student can say that. I lay here looking back on my life wondering what have I done? Who have I helped? The real question I always get is "what do you do for yourself?" Well nothing... my drive, desire, and willingness comes from others. I want to see the results, the proud hugs, endless thank yous come from others to me! I live everyday for you, all of you...


As I continue my journey in life, I come upon struggles, regrets, and discomforts. Right now I am facing what to me is the biggest decision of my life, and possibly the first thing I have solely done alone and for me. I can only dream of the outcome, see the end, and that's what the endless hours of work, and struggle are for. I am on my pursuit of happiness and love, I do it for the good of my family, friends, and peers. Not for me..... once again in the end the proud hugs, endless thank yous, and never ending love makes the person I want to be. I live everyday for you..

Making a change, or adding an opportunity....The hardest part of life

We all say in times of need and discomfort we need "change" but what exactly is change? It's something that will make a difference in your life, sometimes good but most of the time bad. Suddenly we need that new life, that push, the extra "it" factor to get us through the everyday tasks. This always resluts in making a "change". When thinking of what we need to change, we dont tend to think of the dynamics or impact it's going to make on our lifes. Jumping to conclusions and picking the first factor we think is making our life hell and not worth while. Why? Why not take the time to realize whats important to you, what are the values that make you happy and push you to work for the next day, hour, minute, or even second? Don't focus on the negatives, all people have them but the ones that can push past them are successful in their own special way.

With each day I continue to live, I cherish the moments I can endure with my loved ones and the breath that I continue to take one after another. I come to realize that making a change never helps, it's adding that extra factor in your life, the next opportunity that comes your way or you make yourself. Don't hesitate on adding something new, you have one life to live and one day at a time. You never know, how it will affect your life, and the people it will allow you to meet and incorporate in your life forever. While you struggle, and second guess the power of your mind, you can truely accomplish anything you want. It's your own story to tell, you are the author, so create it, how you have always pictured. It may not always be the easy choice, or the right one but in the end whats going to make you happy? Change or opportunities to create your very own story of success.

We all live to tell our own story, what will yours be? Life is a crazy thing, but cherish it while it last, some dont get the opportunity to live, laugh, and most importantly love.
